The incident, which began shortly after 10:00 PM last night, has left the Peterson family – Robert, Susan, and their teenage children, Emily and Daniel – trapped inside their home with no immediate means of escape.

Initial reports indicate that the attack began with a sustained and escalating series of home invasions.
